Melissa Cather’s experience in development, fundraising strategy, and high-impact event execution has shaped a career rooted in building meaningful partnerships and achieving sustainable growth for mission-driven organizations. At TaylorMade Experience, she plays an active role in business development, partnering with clients to identify new opportunities, strengthen relationships, and advance fundraising goals through thoughtfully executed experiences and initiatives.
Prior to joining TME, Melissa held senior leadership roles at the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health and Graham-Pelton Consulting, advising a national portfolio of nonprofit organizations across healthcare, academic, and social service sectors. Her work included campaign strategy, major gift development, donor engagement, and large-scale event execution.
Melissa began her career in healthcare philanthropy in Massachusetts, establishing a foundation that continues to inform her work in client development and organizational growth. She holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Fordham University. When not at work, Melissa enjoys quilting, bike riding, and discovering a great glass of wine.
