Juvale “Jae” Lanuza Esmedia Regala of White Plains, Maryland, was a loving and dedicated mother, an adoring grandmother, a beloved daughter, a cherished sister, and a selfless friend. She was “Wonder Woman” to all who knew her, poised with strength, resiliency, and fortitude. She was a pure joy to countless friends, colleagues, and clients, always finding ways to bring love and laughter to everyone around her throughout her life. Juvale was called to leave this world too soon and she took her last breath on the afternoon of March 15, 2022. She was surrounded by her closest loved ones at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland.
In the last decade, Juvale served as the Chief Operating Officer of TaylorMade Experience. She had the uncanny ability to unapologetically hug and greet every celebrity in her presence as if she’d known them for decades. The likes of Ethel Kennedy, Bill Murray, Michael Jordan, President Barack Obama, Darrell Green, and more were no match for her undeniable charm.
Here at TME, we were blessed with her unconditional love – always there to make us laugh, keeping the energy high, and teaching us how to walk gracefully in high heels. She radiated positivity even during her most challenging times and always kept forging ahead with her unforgettable signature smile.
While pregnant in 2016, Juvale was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In the span of two years, she overcame cancer, rang her bell, and since then everyone’s “Wonder Woman” was in remission. She embodied strength, grace, and kindness no matter what she was facing, never changing her heart’s posture and always in good spirits.
As a matriarch, sister, friend, mentor, and teacher to the countless people she crossed paths with in her lifetime, Juvale will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
