Kara joins TaylorMade Experience as an Account Manager, with a dynamic background in non-profit start-ups. She was the founding Assistant Director of the Union for Reform Judaism 6 Points Creative Arts Academy (CAA), a Jewish summer camp serving young artists, from 2017 to 2022. Kara graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Sport and Entertainment Management in 2015 and worked in Atlanta for two years as a youth advisor and educator.
Kara discovered a passion for event planning and logistics as the Homecoming Planning Chair and social planner for her friend group, and further as the Internal Events Director for the University of South Carolina Dance Marathon, the university’s largest student-led organization and event. As the Assistant Director for CAA, Kara had a hand in all aspects of the organization, including staff hiring, operations and logistics, lead generation, sales, marketing, and programming. Over the 4.5 years spent with URJ, Kara played a role in developing systematic efficiencies, creating a 100% virtual experience, and being on the leadership team for URJ’s biennial and North American youth conferences.
Kara enjoys working out, being outdoors with her husband, Aaron, and searching for the best scoop of ice cream possible.
