Event Recap: Jae’s Wonder Woman Fundraiser
In December 2016, TME’s Vice President Juvale (Jae) Regala was diagnosed with Stage 4 Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia while pregnant with her fourth daughter, Carina. The TaylorMade Experience team has missed her dearly while she has been out on medical leave, fighting hard to beat cancer.
Being experts in the event and fundraising fields, we decided there was no better way to show Jae just how loved and missed she was than – you guessed it – an event! Working with vendor partners, clients and friends in TME’s inner circle, we produced an intimate evening for Jae raising over $12,000.
From the start, we knew we needed a Wonder Woman theme. Thanks to the generous work of Stefan Peterson and Words By Design, we created a fun invitation and program design that featured our one and only Jae as Wonder Woman herself! A special thanks to Doyle Printing & Offset for printing our programs and event signage.
We kept the event close to home, using one of our favorite venues All Set Restaurant & Bar in Silver Spring. As always, the food was delicious – from the mini lobster rolls to the fish and chips! For a sweet note at the end, our friends at Baked by Yael and Be Creative Consulting, LLC provided cake pops and cookies, decorated with the Wonder Woman theme.
From start to finish, this event was a delight. Friends of TME came out in full support of Jae, donating in-kind services, silent auction items, and financial support to the event. TME sincerely thanks all those who made Jae’s dinner such a special success.
