Hello Everyone!
My name is Mary Iafelice (pronounced “Eye-Fell-Eese” in English, “Ya-Fell-E-Chay” in Italian), and I am pleased to introduce myself to you as a TaylorMade Experience Event Coordinator! Better late than never, right?

How is it that a philosophy major with her roots in New England ended up in Events Management in the D.C. area? Well, I will admit that back in college I was dead-set on staying in academia for my whole career. But life, as it is known to do, threw me a curveball and instead of pondering deep in the depths of a library, I soon found myself married to a Marine and living on the beach in beautiful North Carolina.
Fast forward a few years and I was lucky enough to be introduced to the TME team even before I arrived in D.C. My resume up to this point includes everything from “Software Technical Writer” to “Real Estate Marketer,” but a common thread throughout my diverse professional and volunteer experiences, was my involvement with event management and program development. So as you can imagine, getting to work with the TME team was as natural and productive as a progression could be!
During my free time, my biggest passion revolves around food and drink! Cooking food, learning about wine, testing out new restaurants, and best of all, traveling the country and the globe to experience new food cultures are all some of my favorite hobbies. I love spending time outdoors, playing with my dog, Gus, and generally any sort of adventure or exploration will get me to my happy place.
Working at TaylorMade Experience as an Event Coordinator is and has been the adventure I was hoping to find in a career. With so much opportunity to get involved with great organizations and help fulfill their goals, coupled with the fact that I have such an amazing team to be a part of, I couldn’t be more excited to be here!
Cheers!
